Open Innovation Center

Open innovation is the main asset of the LifeCity World project, which adopts this strategic and cultural approach to create value and compete on the market in an always dynamic and receptive manner.
Open innovation, in fact, expands the flows of company enhancement to the systematic contribution of external resources: ideas, solutions, tools and technological skills, which come from particular start-ups, universities, research centers and institutes, inventors, researchers, programmers, consultants, associations, foundations and public bodies.
LifeCity’s open innovation model also opens up to “business network contracts“, as provided for by the Ministry of Economic Development.

Working on the total well-being of the person, LifeCity World brings together in an open process of continuous advancement the innovation inherent in the major issues of health and nutrition and the possibilities of protection and control offered by the blockchain.
All this takes place within an Open Innovation Center, led and participated by high-profile professionals. A competent specialized consultant, the Advanced Advisor, identifies, coordinates and puts in place the external resources useful for the project, integrating them harmoniously with the internal ones. The dynamics of management and production of all LifeCity activities are thus contaminated by new innovative resources, which generate the continuous acquisition of added value, capable of bringing competitiveness and novelty to market scenarios.

Thanks to the Open Innovation Center, the productivity of LifeCity citadels is subject to a unique and incorruptible traceability model. The open management of big data allows to obtain a history of the product that is readable and unchangeable, securely, archived in the encrypted system of the blockchain, unassailable and safe.

Specially, as regards the Health Area of LifeCity, each doctor involved shares an integrated approach to the person-patient, in which the use of investigation means is verticalized in smart innovation mode, allowing each specialist to compare with different specialties, other than their own (selecting them by branch of interest, pathology, health intervention), within a dedicated network. The network includes private groups, universities, professionals, research centers and other valuable figures in the medical-health field.

For what concerns the Commercial Area, the Open Innovation Center, coordinated by the Advanced Advisor, brings together external startups, research centers, talented professional figures and interoperable figures, able to innovate the production process, which already from the beginning meets principles of ethics, sustainability, circular economy and organic nutrition.
The path of production and marketing of food and its processing is totally responding to a standardized archive protocol, therefore enjoys absolute transparency and traceability from land to table, in safety and with data archiving in the blockchain, where they remain accessible and unchangeable.

The Open Innovation Center also presides over the development of the LifeCity World marketplace, which is still being designed and developed. The online store will be managed on a cloud platform, participated by the network of partners, customers and all the participants involved in the integrated LifeCity project. The decentralized storage of data in a cloud, connected with blockchain technology, makes the entire LifeCity World system one of a kind.
